Shipping, Returns and Refunds Policy
The merchants in "The Shops at Topsail" are located on and around Topsail Island, NC which is a 26 mile barrier island between Jacksonville, NC to the north and Wilmington, NC to the south. The Shops at Topsail are committed to providing the best service to you, our customers.
Each merchant in "The Shops at Topsail" are independently owned and operated and are not affiliated with the iMall.Topsail-Island.Info. The iMall.Topsail-Island.Info has strict merchant guidelines that each merchant must adhere to in order to participate in our on-line store.
Communication with the merchant directly is your responsibility for any questions or concerns you may have for any purchases. Each merchant will have contact information easily accessible in their on-line store including phone number, hours of operation, and physical address. The participating merchants will make every reasonable attempt to satisfy their customers.
Terms used herein are "buyer": anyone making a purchase, "seller": a merchant providing product, "The Shops at Topsail": the website iMall.Topsail-Island.Info, providing carrier: a known shipping company such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL).
SHIPPING
1. In-stock purchased items will be placed in a shippers hands within 2 business days from the seller.
2. A "Business Day" is defined as a non-holiday Monday - Friday.
3. Shipping will be from a known carrier (i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL).
4. Only the USPS (United States Postal Service) can deliver to PO Boxes. All other carriers must deliver to a physical address.
5. If purchasing from multiple stores in one order, each seller will ship their product separately and from different shipping carriers.
6. Electronic methods will be employed to track shipments and deliveries from the providing carrier using the carriers on-line tracking system.
7. Each shipments tracking number will be made available to you the buyer via a confirmation email from the seller and on-line in your account section.
8. Sellers will provide tracking numbers for each shipment within 1 business day from time of shipment.
9. iMall.Topsail-Island.Info (The Shops at Topsail) or Topsail Publishing, Inc. are not responsible for lost , damaged, or stolen shipments.
10. The seller must be contacted directly by the purchaser for merchandise not received.
11. Contacting "The Shops at Topsail" directly for any shipping questions or concerns could delay response from the seller.
RETURNS
It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the seller directly for any situation requiring a return of product. Contact the seller directly via telephone or email to obtain return authorization and return procedures. The sellers contact information and return policy will be stated in their on-line store.
The website iMall.Topsail-Island.Info and Topsail Publishing, Inc. make no claim to merchantability, safety, or use of products sold by sellers.
The "Shops at Topsail" have the following requirements of sellers:
1. Sellers must have a clearly defined and posted return policy.
2. Every reasonable effort will be made by the seller to expedite the return process.
3. Every reasonable effort will be made by the seller to provide a satisfying customer experience for the buyer.
The "Shops at Topsail" have the following requirements of buyers:
1. Buyer will make every reasonable effort to expedite the return process.
2. Buyer will return the product in original packaging.
3. Buyer will include a copy of the original invoice inside the shipping container.
4. Buyer will securely package the merchandise for shipping.
5. Buyer will ship the package using a known carrier.
6. Buyer will obtain and hold the tracking number from the carrier.
7. Buyer will contact the seller directly for any resolution of product.
REFUNDS
The merchants in "The Shops at Topsail" and Topsail Publishing, Inc. want to ensure the best possible customer experience for our buyers. "The Shops at Topsail" will work with each merchant to expedite the refund process.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the seller directly for any situation requiring a refund.
1. Buyer will contact the seller to obtain a refund.
2. Buyer will package and return (if applicable) the product being refunded using a known carrier.
3. Buyer will make every reasonable effort to expedite the refund process by performing any returns.
4. Seller will make every reasonable effort to expedite the refund process by communicating with buyer in a timely manner and processing the returned product.
5. Seller will request a refund be processed by "The Shops at Topsail" by email notification stating invoice number and refund amount.
6. The "Shops at Topsail" will process any refund request from a seller within 1 business day.
7. Refunds will be credited back to the buyers original purchasing instrument only.
8. "The Shops at Topsail" will notify the buyer and the seller of the processed refund by email to the email address on file at time of purchase.
9. Buyer understands that refunds are solely at the discretion of the seller and must be requested and authorized by the seller before any refunds are issued to the buyer by "The Shops at Topsail".
By agreeing to these terms the "buyer" and "seller" indemnify and hold harmless "The Shops at Topsail" and Topsail Publishing, Inc. of use, safety, or merchantability of the website iMall.Topsail-Island.Info and any products listed within "The Shops at Topsail". |
